Potters is nestled below Mount Blackheath in the beautiful Kanimbla Valley. This spectacular property with the Blue Mountain escarpment as its backdrop, provides a magnificent environment to escape to and unwind. Although secluded, Potters is only 15 minutes drive from Blackheath with its galleries, fine restaurants and cafes. But just a stroll away is Centennial Glen Stables which offers horse rides for 1 hour to 3 days! If horse riding is not your thing then bushwalking, mountain biking or rockclimbing are at your fingertips! Or you can just sit on the veranda and watch the roos. All linen, plunger coffee/twinings tea, hotwater bottles and candles are provided. We also provide local sourdough bread and free range eggs from the property. There are two forms of accommodation available - Potters Cottage and Potters Annexe . Both are self contained each building has its own character. Potters Cottage is a beautiful and inviting, two bedroom, self contained cottage. The cottage is made of earth and recycled timber. Potters Cottage was designed and built by the well known potter John Robertson. His artistic style and creativity can be seen in the unique character of the cottage. It’s rustic nature and country setting makes for a romantic and peaceful break. The cottage is perfect for one or two couples but can accommodate families and groups of up to six people. |
Again the shell of this building was designed and built by John Robertson but it has only recently been renovated. It is also rustic in nature, but with a more refined finish. The Annexe is also self contained. It has two large rooms, a bedroom and living area. There is also an adjoining deck. It is suitable for couples and small families. |
